Life’s Problem

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned; all fall short of God’s glorious standard.

God’s Answer

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.

John 10:10b Jesus said, “My purpose is to give life in all its fullness.”

How does it work?

Ephesians 1:7 He is so rich in kindness that He purchased our freedom through the blood of His Son, and our sins are forgiven.

Is there any other way?

John 14:6 Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through Me.”

What do I have to do, to obtain eternal life?

John 1:12 But to all who believed Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God.

John 5:24 “I assure you, those who listen to My message and believe in God who sent Me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life.”

Ephesians 2:8-9 God saved you by His special favor when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.

You mean I don’t have to earn it? … just believe and obey?

John 3:36 And all who believe in God’s Son have eternal life. Those who don’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life, but the wrath of God remains upon them."

Will I be any different?

II Corinthians 5:17 … those who become Christians become new persons. They are not the same anymore, for the old life is gone. A new life has begun!

Can I trust what the Bible says?

John 20:31 But this has been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in Him you will have life.

Can I really have confidence that all this is true?

I John 5:11-13 And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. So whoever has God’s Son has life; whoever does not have His Son does not have life. I write this to you who believe in the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.
